bella's mittens are done :)

I could not find the suggested yarn and ended up using a worsted weight, wool blend. It looks like the cascade pewter has been discontinued. :( I ma going to go tot the knit nook when the weather clears up to see if I can find a better replacement. I am still happy with the pattern and the out come though not as defined as if it would be if I used a bulky weight yarn. I am learning so much this has been a lot of fun.

Hi I am new here. Really don't plan to be around much my main blog is on livejournal. I came here to ask a blogger a question about a post and the only way to ask was to subscribe. Well now that I am here i will have a look around see what this place is all about and hopefyully find the answer to my question will occasionally drop in with bouts of crafting insanity. You know a project I can't get out of my head, and or need help with.

Todays project, Bella's mittens from th emovie Twilight. My BF loves them, they are rather cute. So I thought I would make a pair for her with my limited knitting skills, I have done some research and now a little bit of stalking to find help with this project lol. Honestly this thing has inspired me to learn more about knitting. I have purchased a new book an am loving it, an dplan to do many more projects. Well, life s calling now so wish me luck :)
